Sacraments
Baptism is the gateway to sacramental life in the Church. By God's grace, the sacrament of baptism forgives both original and personal sin, makes us into a new creation in Christ, and incorporates us into Christ's body, the Church. Baptisms are celebrated on the First Sunday of the Month after the 10:00 a.m. Mass when Father H is presiding at Mass. When he is not here on the first weekend, baptisms will take place on the second Sunday of the month. Please contact the St. Anthony parish office for scheduling your child's Baptism. If you are first time parents you will be required to attend a one time Baptism Class offered on the third Sunday of every month after the 8:00 a.m. Mass at St. Anthony Church. If you have had previous children baptized you will need to contact the parish office to acquire and fill out the Baptism information paperwork that is required for every child being baptized.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation or Confession brings us God's forgiveness for our sins and reconciles us with God and the Church. Confessions are heard on Sunday mornings before Mass from 9:30 - 9:45 or by appointment. |
The Eucharist is the heart of our Catholic life. As Canon Law states: "The Most Holy Eucharist is the most august sacrament, in which Christ the Lord himself is contained, offered and received, and by which the Church constantly lives and grows...it signifies and effects the unity of the people of God and achieves the building up of the Body of Christ." Our Sunday Eucharistic celebration takes place every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. (Weekend Masses for St. Anthony parish take place every Saturday evening at 4:30 p.m. and on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.)

By receiving the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to share and spread the Christian faith in our daily lives by witnessing to our Lord. The Sacrament of Marriage or Matrimony takes place when a baptized man and woman vow their mutual, permanent and exclusive love as a covenant with one another. Christian marriage therefore mirrors that love of Christ for his bride the Church. To begin planning for a wedding you must contact the pastor at least seven months in advance of your desired date. He will meet with you and share with you the details of preparation and scheduling that will be required. Please do not schedule reception locations until after meeting with the pastor, as desired wedding dates may not always be available.
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a special sacrament for those who are facing serious illness or even danger of death. The grace of this sacrament brings about spiritual healing, giving the suffering courage, comfort, and peace. The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is celebrated communally on the last Sunday of the month after Mass or by appointment as needed. Please contact the parish office if you are needing the sacrament due to illness or before major surgery.
