St. Elizabeth Altar Society
Our parish Altar Society invites you to become a member of this active and important organization that does so much for the well-being of our parish. In addition to taking care of the sanctuary of the church and hosting funeral dinners, our ladies also host and participate in several annual events such as helping our Knights of Columbus with our Lenten fish fry, our Mexican Fiesta and Memorial Breakfast for K of C members. Additional events include Decorating the church for Christmas, providing priest's meals for penance services, preparing the graduating Senior's Dinner, assisting with the CYM Lasagna Dinner, hosting the Annual Parish Memorial Dinner, hosting our 1st Confessions Reception, hosting our Confirmation Reception, hosting our Dueling Pianos social event, and the annual cleaning of our church. Catholic Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry of our parish is a wonderful way to get your high school aged children involved in the life of Church. Meeting Wednesday evenings during the school year, our youth also plan, host and prepare a year full of activities and ministries for our parish community. These include hosting coffee and donuts, hosting the annual Drive-In Movie, hosting the Soup and Skits evening, collecting items and making and delivering blessing bags for the homeless, hosting the annual Italian Dinner and Lasagna fundraiser, participating in the Good Friday 24 hour fast, providing the Living Way of the Cross, hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt for the children of the parish, providing flowers to moms on Mother's Day and candy to Dads on Father's Day, and annual trips to the March For Life in Washington D. C., the March For Life in Topeka, and attending Steubenville Conferences every year. We would love to have your high school aged youth be a part of this amazing group of kids and all they do in promoting and celebrating our faith here at St. Anthony parish.
